S.C. SIGMET S.R.L. was established since May 2007 and has as the main filed of activity trading of general mechanics, including, but not limited to, mechanical engineering, lock-making and hydrokinetics. (S.R.L. stands for L.T.D.)

S.C. SIGMET S.R.L. - MANUFACTURING :
BORING / TURNING : We do turnings and finish borings on different metals using regular lathes to obtain outer diameter cuttings and inner radial facings. Those operations are done on the lathe, using chambering, entring and facing tools and cleaning knifes in two steps: coarse grind and finishing.
MILLING WORK : we are using angular gashings, cherryings, angular / circular and conventional milling to build products of higher quality than all resulted from other manufacturing procedures like are planing and circular slotting.
BORING / DRILLING: The chip removing process for bores can be done inside our machine shop through: boring operation, counter boring, align reaming, screw-cutting, milling, correction.
CORRECTION: We are doing the correction process for components to achieve the aim of dimensional precision ad high quality of surfaces.
DIVING: we can do cutting offs for large dimension metals using alternative sawing or metal plates on block cutter.
PLANING: We are doing planing on different materials using a main forward motion driven on the face, related to the tool’s axis.
WELDING :
1. Welding with coated electrodes can be used on the following materials:
- Stainless, weak non-allied stainless
- For loading hardened layers
- For non-ferrous metals
2. Welding using MAG (Active Rock Gas) is a process that is characterized by a high productivity, low cost and a great deep. CO2 gases are used and ARGON.
3. Acetylene (autogenous) welding is used for execution of welding joints using gas (oxyacetylene)
